Computer Based Training (CBT) -
CBT refers to any training whose primary
delivery mechanism is a computer. The term
used to describe the software for the CBT is courseware.

Each CBT is individually addressable, allowing personalized training. A menu can be manually or dynamically produced to include only those Learning Objects necessary to fulfill a user's learning objectives.

Interactive courseware runs effortlessly over the Internet, on CD-ROM, hard drive, local area network and wide area network.

For CD-ROM, hard drive, local area network (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) you need absolutely nothing.

For browser based delivery all you need is Shockwave version 8.0 or greater and a browser.
